Cornelia Drees, MD

Dr. Cornelia Drees is a faculty neurologist specializing in epilepsy at Barrow. She received her medical degree from the Medical School–University of Cologne in Germany. She completed a neurology residency at the University Hospital Cologne and at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where she also completed a Neurophysiology/Epilepsy Fellowship. In addition, she completed an Epilepsy Fellowship in the Department of Epileptology at the University Hospital Bonn in Germany.
Dr. Drees has published on the outcomes and cognitive effects of epilepsy surgery and has participated in research to evaluate the effect of antiepileptic medication on women.
She has been certified by the German Board of Neurology and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
