Our Mission
The Division of Child Neurology at Barrow Neurologial Institute is the largest child neurology group in the state of Arizona. We dedicated to the clinical care of our patients, the education of clinical specialists, and research into the causes of and possible treatments for pediatric neurological disorders.
Our physicians and nurse practitioners evaluate and treat infants, children, and adolescents. Some of the neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders we treat include:
- epilepsy
- headache and migraine
- neuromuscular diseases
- neurogenetic conditions
- demyelinating disorders
- vascular disorders and stroke
- attention deficit disorders
- cerebral palsy and spasticity
- developmental delay
- autism
Clinicians in Child Neurology also work closely with colleagues in the Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery to help in the medical management of children with neurological problems such as brain tumors, traumatic injuries to the brain and spinal cord, and hydrocephalus.
Specialized Clinical and Research Programs
