The Section of Spinal Surgery at Barrow Neurological Institute encompasses the most advanced techniques to correct surgical disorders of the spine and spinal cord. A diverse faculty consists of world renowned spinal surgeons, radiation therapists, endovascular neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and rehabilitation specialists. 

The entire spectrum of spinal disease processes are addressed through both traditional and minimally invasive surgical treatment options.  Degenerative disorders, trauma, tumors, and vascular diseases are treated through a team approach that includes specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal disorders. Radiosurgical options that require no surgical incisions are also available using a Cyberknife radiation therapy unit, the only such device of its kind in the State of Arizona.
